What is Bongéni?

Bongéni is the on-demand logistics platform, connecting businesses and customers with drivers to optimise the way goods are transported in Mauritius. We provide local express delivery, apartment and office moving and as well as local delivery and shipping for businesses

What is the minimum age and experience requirements?

We require drivers to be at least 21 years old and have at least one year of driving experience. For more information please refer to our How to join Bongéni as a driver?

What are other documentary requirements?

  • 1. Hold a valid Mauritius National ID.
  • 2. Have a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
  • 3. Have any other insurance, licenses and permits, that may be required to perform transportation operations you may accept on the platform.

What are the vehicle requirements?

Have a car, pickup, van or truck in good working condition. You do not need to be the owner, but you need to have a legal right to drive this vehicle.

What kind of phone do I need?

You need a smartphone running either iOS or Android with mobile data plan. Bongéni advises that you have a mobile data plan with high or unlimited data usage limits.

How many deliveries should I make?

This is totally up to you. There are no commitments on time or number of deliveries you have to perform and you are paid every week when you complete a delivery. However, we advise to perform at least one delivery per month to make sure that your Driver ID is kept active on the platform.
